Glenn Ashby

The best catamaran sailor in the world.

Glenn and his family have been long time members of McCrae Yacht Club. Starting out in small dinghies, Paper Tiger catamarans, Glenn has gone on to represent Australia at the Olympics in the Tornado class. He has won more A Class Catamaran world and national titles than anyone can keep track of and is the driving force behind Emirates Team New Zealand quest to defend the America’s Cup.

Casey Imeneo

Growing up sailing Minnows, then Pacers, Casey has become a force in the women’s Laser Radial. Currently ranked 3rd in Australia.
Casey is in the Australian Sailing Squad & a full VIS athlete. Casey is training full-time to compete in the Laser World Championships to be held at Europe in 2023.
ILCA 6 only have a total of 44 females worldwide who can qualify for the Olympics. “Go Casey“

Brody Riley

Brody has accumulated a collection of 21 Laser Cubes. Following the 2015 Laser Radial Nationals, he was offered a full-scholarship at the Victorian Institute of Sport.
His first World Championships when he travelled to Ireland for the 2016 Laser Radial Youth World Championships to finish just shy of the top 10; albeit achieving his first international race win. At the 2017 Nationals, Brody finished 2nd at the Laser Radial Nationals in Adelaide by a point. He then transitioned into the Laser Standard where he was regularly invited to train with the AST in Sydney.
In 2018, Brody self-funded his first few years on the European Circuit. A Radial Nationals winner in 2020. After being unable to further finance his Olympic Dream, he has turned his focus to his law degree.
Brody has been Coaching for AIS Men’s ILCA futures sailors in Europe in 2023. He won the Vic Coach of the Year 2023.

Mark Bulka

Mark has been sailing and racing all his life. Mark was self-funded on the European Circuit for many years, from a young age. He loves the competition and, artery of sailing across multiple classes of boats. His family are also keen sailors.
A multiple World Champion in the Contender class, Mark has recently turned his hand to the foiling A Class Catamaran, and is also competing in the Tasar’s with his eldest son Oliver.
